HTA (Hydro ThermAblator) Therapy
  AKA  Endometrial Ablation
Endometrial ablation is a procedure performed instead of hysterectomy to control abnormal uterine bleeding that cannot be adequately controlled with hormonal therapy.

Hysterectomy

A hysterectomy is surgery to remove a woman's uterus, and possibly the ovaries and fallopian tubes. Hysterectomy can be performed in a three ways; abdominally, vaginally, or laparoscopically.

Laparoscopy

Laparoscopy is a surgical procedure to examine the abdominal organs or the female pelvic organs. It is used to diagnose problems such as cysts, adhesions, fibroids, and infection. It can also be used to perform a laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy.

Sterilization by Laparoscopy

A tubal ligation (also called "having your tubes tied") is a type of surgery for a woman that permanently prevents pregnancy (sterilization). Sterilization by laparoscopy is a less invasive form of this procedure.

Cesarean Section

In a cesarean section (C-section) a fetus is delivered through an incision in the mother's abdomen rather than being delivered vaginally.  A cesarean delivery is often required when a vaginal birth would be dangerous to the mother or the fetus.
