As one of the first obstetrics/gynecology physicians in Brandon , Dr. Messina saw the first gynecology patient at Brandon Regional Hospital when it was founded in 1977. Six years later, when the hospital opened the doors of its maternity unit, Dr. Zweibach delivered the hospital's first baby, a healthy girl.
